Experience: Urban Design Associates, Ltd., Owned and Operated since its inception in April, 1989. Urban Design Consultants, LTD, Owned and Operated between September, 1980 to April, 1989.

Metz and Associates, Managing Partner and Licensed Party, May, 1976 to August, 1980.

Professional Focus: Lee is in charge of client contact and design for Urban Design Associates. He oversees the production of all phases of construction documents. He makes himself available to provide Construction Administration service for those clients that desire his ongoing presence and observing during construction.

He is instrumental in guiding the long-range vision of the growth and direction of the firm. The firm primarily specializes in high-end custom residential design ranging in construction costs of One Million to Ten Million dollars. Over the past 24 years, Lee has designed over 500 custom residences.

Community Involvement: Lee has been a member in good standing with the American Institute of Architects, Member ID 21600, the A.I.A. Arizona and the A.I.A. Rio Salado since 1980. Lee has served on many A.I.A. committees, including the State Board of Directors. Lee has worked with a number of Scottsdale committees to develop, establish and maintain neighborhood Design Review Guidlines, which outline acceptable architectural standards that are to be met in initial building and remodeling. Such communities include The Boulders, Pinnacle Peak Country Club Estates, Camelback Country Club Estates, Estancia, Finisterre, and The Peaks. Lee has served on these Design Review boards for the past 20 years.

Awards: Under Lee's guidance, his firm, Urban Design Associates, Ltd. has won numerous awards in the professional community. The awards the firm has received consistently have included Gold Nugget Awards from 1996 through 2011, Best in American Living Awards from 1995 through 2011 and Mame Awards from 1996 through 2011.
